We saved so much money and explored a whole lot more by staying in these 10 backpacker hostels in Brisbane!

Hostels are a backpacker’s best friend—and now, they’ve become mine too! My first hostel experience was a creaky bunk bed and a roommate whose snoring kept me up all night. But I was hooked!

Hostels come with their quirks, but they’re easy on the wallet and perfect for meeting people. I’ve gone on entire road trips and watched sunrises with random people from different countries I just met the night before!

So, whether you’re new to backpacking or just need a reminder of why hostels are unbeatable, here’s why they’re the top pick for budget travelers. The memories and adventures? Absolutely worth it!

We like that this hostel helps backpackers looking to extend their stay by connecting them with local farm jobs. These jobs include seasonal work like fruit picking, vegetable harvesting, and general farm labor.
