The Top 5 Dog Walkers in Brisbane That Even My Dogs Love Going With
I might be busy during the day, but I love my kids–my dogs, that is. I have a problem though, and that’s who’ll take care of them when I’m away. I never know when I’ll have errands, emergencies, or spontaneous hangouts and I can’t take them with me.
The problem is, who are the dog walkers that my pets will be comfortable with? They have different personalities, so of course I worry for them. That’s when I had the idea of availing the services of different dog walkers–so I can know the answer to the issue.
I ran with this experiment for a number of weeks, so if you want to find out my list, read ahead!

Spot The Dog Walker caught my eye for their adventure dog walks. It’s a three-hour outing where your furry friend can splash in the waves at the beach or trot along bushland trails. It’s like a mini adventure every time they go out!
But here’s something that stands out even more–Spot The Dog Walker truly cares about the community. Every single walk they do has a purpose. They donate 50 cents to the RSPCA from each walk. It’s a great way to feel good about our choices.
All their walkers are fully insured and police-checked. Plus, they’re trained in basic pet first aid. That’s a huge relief, isn’t it? It’s all about making sure our pets are in good hands.
They even offered me a personalized meet-and-greet before the first walk, which is fantastic. I was able to pick a walker who vibes well with my dogs’ personalities! It’s all about finding that perfect match.
That said, I came across a few reviews that mentioned some hiccups with scheduling conflicts. Some clients experienced last-minute cancellations or unexpected changes to their assigned walkers.
It could help if Spot The Dog Walker set up a more robust communication system. Keeping clients in the loop with timely updates about their walker’s availability would help manage expectations and make everyone feel more supported.
Wonderful business
Spot the Dog Walker is a wonderful business. All the walkers we have had over the five years have been amazing. Punctual, thoughtful and flexible with walks. Lisa, the owner, is lovely and communication is great. If you are looking for a dog walker these are your people.

Jogs for Dogs is this awesome dog walking service in Brisbane that takes a different approach to walking our furry friends. Instead of the typical boring strolls along footpaths, they take the dogs on nature walks through bush trails!
They’ve got around 180 dogs being walked each week! That’s quite a crew. They make sure to organize the groups based on the dogs’ needs. I went with that option, so there was a perfect group waiting for each of my dogs.
They’ve been around in Brisbane’s Western suburbs for over nine years now, and I can see why. The staff is well-trained and super knowledgeable about dog behavior, which gives me this incredible peace of mind knowing my furry friends are in good hands.
They also offer some super fun extras like dog cakes and even dog pools! Their homemade cakes are perfect for celebrating special moments like birthdays or adoption anniversaries, allowing your dog to indulge a little without it being bad for their health.
Of course, I did hear a few complaints about scheduling conflicts and last-minute cancellations from some people. I get how frustrating that can be. I’d suggest they could benefit from a more robust scheduling system.
Something, where clients can easily see available time slots and book in advance, would be perfect. It would help clear up any confusion or overlaps with appointments and make everything run much smoother for everyone involved, walkers and dog owners alike.
Five star service
Jogs for Dogs is a fantastic, five star service. My boys love their walks and it makes me so happy to know that they are having a great time in the great outdoors, with lots of stimulation, even when I can’t be the hand at the end of the lead. Heidi takes great care of the boys and is always considerate of their needs. My dogs can be heat sensitive, which Heidi is constantly mindful of – walking them at cooler times in the day, giving them a little swim to cool off and making sure they stay hydrated. The boys love her and arrive home with very happy faces! Highly recommend this service.

Precious Paws Dog Walking & Pet Sitting has this neat program where they do two home pet-sitting visits for just $80 a day! It’s like having a mini-care team for your pet.
They’ve got this extensive background in animal care, and it shows. Everyone is RSPCA-trained and has police checks, which puts my mind at ease. Clearly, these folks genuinely care about animals, and that passion is so comforting.
On the day I booked them, they didn’t just pop in for a quick hello. They spent time feeding and exercising my dogs. Plus, they even picked up the mail and helped with household chores!
They also offered an overnight pet sitting service. I came home after a long day knowing my dogs had someone stay with them all night, which put me at peace.
The sitter makes sure they’re well-fed, taken for a walk if they need it, and just gets to hang out in a familiar space. It’s like having a pet buddy right there with them, which makes a world of difference!
That said, I did notice a few reviews mentioning some occasional delays in communication when booking services or getting updates while sitting.
If I were to suggest something, I would recommend setting up a clear communication plan right from the start. Maybe choose specific times for updates or confirm bookings through text or email.
Over and above the job
Isabelle is a wonderful person who goes over and above her job of dog walking. She fills water bowls and picks up poop in the yard. She is not a trainer but tries really hard to teach my girls to loose leash walk. I definitely recommend her for dog walking and will ask her to do other doggy tasks when the need arises.

Dogs Life Brisbane really understands how much we adore our furry friends while juggling our busy schedules. One of the standout things they offer is these fantastic group outings and adventures for dogs.
My pups got to run around, make new buddies, and explore new areas all while having a blast! It’s such a great way for them to socialize and get some exercise in a fun and safe setting.
And if you’re like me and find it hard to keep your dog entertained during those hectic workdays, Dogs Life Brisbane has got your back with their daycare services. They created a place where dogs are cared for and entertained all day.
Plus, their packages include this awesome perk of pick-up and drop-off services. You’ll appreciate this much if you’re juggling work and other responsibilities like me! No more stressing about how to get your dog to their walking or daycare sessions.
During our initial meet-and-greet, the walkers took the time to get to know my dogs and understand their personalities and specific needs. It made me feel so reassured that they were in good hands.
What also stood out to me was how seriously they take safety. They use well-fitted harnesses and make sure all the dogs are leashed at all times, which I appreciate!
During group walks, they keep the number of dogs manageable so everyone gets the attention they need. Plus, they do regular health checks on the dogs before walks! It’s those little details that really boost my confidence in their services.
Of course, I did come across a few reviews mentioning some hiccups with communication around scheduling changes or cancellations. I can see how that could be frustrating.
I think it would be awesome if Dogs Life Brisbane could introduce something like automated notifications to keep everyone updated. Just a little nudge about upcoming walks could really help clear up any confusion and make things run smoother.
Great experience
Chico has been going walking with Troy now for over 12 months. He looks forward to the walks with Troy and his dog pals. Troy is a caring, professional person who takes the best care of Chico. Chico can have his challenges and Troy has gone out of his way to try different things and work with us to make sure Chico has a great experience. Would recommend Troy to anyone who needs to have their dog well cared for and taken on regular walks.

Had the best time with Dogs Life
My border collie cross, Vino, had the BEST time with Dogs Life. Pick up and drop off was so smooth and convenient and I loved seeing the pics throughout the day. He was so exhausted, Vino walked himself to bed as soon as he got home.

Mad Dogs & Englishmen offers this doggy daycare that’s just perfect if you’re busy at work but still want your pup to have a blast. Picture this: two consecutive one-hour walks in local parks, with transportation in between!
They also do these solo training walks, which qualified trainers lead. If your dog has been a little naughty or needs some polish, these sessions focus on behavioral improvement and obedience.
Here’s something that really pulls at my heartstrings–they send out daily updates! I got to see photos and videos of my dogs having the time of their life–which honestly, just melted my heart.
Safety is a big deal for me, and I can confidently say it is also for Mad Dogs & Englishmen. They have this smart policy of taking a maximum of four dogs per walker. I appreciate the attention they give my dogs while minimizing risks during the walk.
Plus, knowing they’re fully-insured brings me peace of mind. I just feel secure leaving my pets with them, which is such a relief!
Now, I’ve noticed a few reviews mentioning some hiccups with scheduling conflicts or last-minute cancellations. While my experience has been smooth overall, I think establishing a better communication system could be a game-changer.
Just a little something that allows clients to get updates on any changes in advance would go a long way in keeping everyone aligned on schedules and expectations.

Above and beyond individual treatment
I would be surprised if I ever saw anything less than 5 STARS for these amazing people. Kyle and Leticia have been walking Our dog every weekday for the past 4 months and we have felt very happy and comfortable with the service we receive. Oftentimes they will go above and beyond for us providing each dog with their own individual treatment. They have even worked with us to have our pup develop better habits and also come to help us out on what I consider short notice. I really feel like I can truly rely on them and trust them immensely. If you are looking for an amazing, top quality service, then look no further…you have found it.
