Pros
- In the business since 1
- Open seven days a week
- Friendly and patient instructors
Cons
- Few instances of not responding to client queries
- Need to add more to their refreshment facility
One of the most experienced skydiving facilities that deserves a spot on our list is Skydive Ramblers. Since 1979, they have been providing thrills to those who would want to experience the action.
Clients agree with us that Skydive Ramblers’ jump off points and facilities are a beautiful sight to see, making the whole skydive experience even more exciting. We also think that having a great atmosphere encourages fun and enjoyment to their clients.
What we love about them is that their instructors are very patient and friendly. This helps clients, especially newbies, to be more at ease in trying the thrilling sport of skydiving.
Another thing worth highlighting is the facility’s safety record. We even love how their staff and instructors would go over and discuss the safety precautions to the customers, ensuring that all security measures are in place.
Since they attend to a high volume of clients on a daily basis, there are a few instances where they overlook client queries dropped online. It would be better to get on a call instead.
Meanwhile, booking a slot should easily be done through their website. Even better, rates are already reflected, allowing customers to choose the best package to go for.
It’s also quite commendable that they have a professional video team onsite – complete with high-res still photos and video to document the entire experience. We love that we can just easily add this to our chosen skydiving experience while booking.
In line with this, we love that they added customer convenience by having accommodations in the area. This allows clients to save more time from searching for rental spaces within the location.
However, the facility still lacks refreshment options around the area. Customers should be ready to bring their own favourite refreshing drink when they visit Skydive Ramblers.

- Friendlier rates
Cons
- Some reviews of needing to improve communication
- A few reports about pushed back appointments due to schedule delays
Joining our list of the best skydiving facilities in Brisbane is Sunshine Coast Skydivers. For over 50 years, they have been a sound player for providing thrilling diving experience with remarkable views.
What we like about them is that they offer friendlier rates, encouraging new skydivers to try out the sport. Even better, these guys also offer gift vouchers, which are even valid for three years!
Another important thing to highlight is their high attention to delivering safety measures. We commend them for getting regular aircraft checks, which provides more peace of mind to both instructors and clients.
On top of that, their instructors were asked by Sunshine Coast Skydivers to have twice the skydiving experience required by the Australian Parachute Federation before being employed.
Because of their safety precautions and measures, and over 35,000 skydives on their record, customers are confident that this company’s skydiving team really has a profound experience.
We also like that they have beach landing views, which clients can enjoy with no extra charge! Clients agree with us that they enjoy the unobstructed views of the beach while skydiving.
In terms of capturing all the fun and action, it’s also great that Sunshine Coast Skydivers have included a friendly package of photo documentation, including a video edit.
All things considered, we think that Sunshine Coast Skydivers is worth the shot. We just wish they improve handling of rescheduled appointments and delays to avoid customers from waiting too long.

Pros
- Beach landing
- Comprehensive orientation and jump guide
- Friendly photo and video documentation package
Cons
- Limited operating hours
- Some reviews of longer waiting time
- A few reports of needing to improve attention to detail
Since 1988, Gold Coast Skydive has been providing thrilling skydive experiences for Brisbane people and even international visitors.
What we love about them is their comprehensive briefing. From the website to the pre-jump briefing, we’re quite impressed with the step-by-step guide that allows us to anticipate what’s next during the jump.
We love that the instructors take their time in discussing safety measures with the clients. We’re even impressed how calm they can be, making first time jumpers comfortable and more at ease.
We also love that they have a friendlier photo and video documentation package compared to its counterparts. On top of that, videos are fully edited, which makes the captured experience even more interesting.
Even better, these edited files can be viewed by the end of the skydive, allowing customers to also get the edited files before leaving the facility.
We have reservations, however, when it comes to providing high attention to detail. Gold Coast Skydive needs to improve jotting down their clients’ requests especially when booking additional services to avoid inconvenience.
We also experienced a longer wait time during our appointment. It may be better to leave other errands to another day to allow time for any possible delay.
Nonetheless, because of their calm and friendly staff as well as their detailed orientation, Gold Coast Skydrive deserves a spot on our list of the best skydiving facilities in Brisbane.

Pros
- Open daily
- Offers different landing options
Cons
- Some reviews of needing to improve communication
- Can still improve schedule management system
Another skydiving facility that should be added on our list of the best ones in Brisbane is Skydive Australia. For over two decades, they have become a known player with more than 14 drop zones in the country.
Because of this, we’re not surprised to see a solid client base, even though they’re considered as one of the younger players in their industry.
What we love about them is that we can conveniently choose which view and drop zones to go for. This allows all their customers to experience the thrill of free falling with remarkable landings on the beach or lovely coastal views.
For those who would want to learn how to enjoy some independent freefall, Skydive Australia also offers a 9-stage solo skydive course, which we love.
Booking online is relatively easy, too. Customers just need to choose their preferred location and pick a date, making it hassle-free.
On the other hand, clients can also ensure a safe and convenient payment when booking online. Customers have gained more peace of mind knowing that Skydive Australia only partnered with reliable brands such as Afterpay, and Humm.
However, it’s worth noting that there are chances of having a shorter flight time, especially when afternoon bookings have been pushed back due to delays.

Pros
- Offers a simulated skydiving experience
- Provides indoor skydiving packages for groups and events
Cons
- Rates are a bit premium
- Only offers indoor skydiving
A skydiving facility that is still thrilling, but will definitely make flyers less nervous, is iFly Indoor Skydving. Among its counterparts, iFly can be a good option for first time clients.
Using a vertical wind tunnel, flyers can enjoy a controlled environment where they can try to experience safe and fun indoor skydiving.
We’re impressed that they even allow children to experience indoor skydiving, making them a great option for families, and even for parties!
Another thing that captured our interest is their effort in making flying possible even for people with physical disabilities. The guys from iFly will just have to coordinate with the client to choose the best package to offer.
We also love how they thought of adding a digital touch to the flying experience. Utilising some state-of-the-art virtual reality technology, clients can enjoy a simulated skydive during their session.
It’s also quite commendable how the instructors are present for the entire duration. From start to finish, the instructors will make sure to monitor the clients, allowing them to check for comfort and safety at all times.
Their rates, however, are a bit premium. The price would’ve been acceptable if the flying duration is longer.
Nonetheless, because of the controlled skydiving facility and the minimal nerve-wracking experience, we still think that iFly is worth the investment.
